Also known as vertical platform lifts, they are like a mini elevator to overcome stairs and are commonly used on porches, decks, inside restaurants and public buildings. A porch lift allows a scooter, wheelchair or power chair user to easily go between different levels with the touch of button. Designed for indoor or exterior use, this porch
lift can transfer up to 750 pounds and complies with all commercial
code requirements. Comes with an automatic
self-lowering folding ramp and an obstruction sensor that stops
carriage to avoid crushing objects accidentally. Available with
either 53” and 75” maximum floor to floor height (Model VPL-3153 and
VPL-3175). The carriage comes with up and down buttons plus
emergency stop.
