Ramps

Ramps provide access to the home or business and can be constructed from aluminum, fiber glass, wood or a mix of metal and wood. We offer both permanent and portable ramps.

PVI - Threshold ramp (screw down)
Available in lengths from 8 – 24 inches, this screw down ramp is lightweight, made from aluminum with an anti-slip, high traction surface for small thresholds.

 

PVI - Threshold ramp (self-supporting)
A portable ramp good for uneven door thresholds, whether the door swings inward or outward. These ramps are ideal for use on door thresholds where you do not want the ramp to extend onto the threshold plate, including sliding glass doors, storm doors, or raised landings. Available in lengths from 16-24, with a threshold height of 1.5 to 3 inches.

 

PVI - Single fold ramp
Portable folding ramp that spans steps and larger thresholds. This ramp carries like a suitcase because it folds in half and has a convenient carrying handle. Made from aluminum with welded construction, it has an anti-slip high traction surface for wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs. Available in lengths from 2-8 feet.

PVI - Van side door ramp
This ramp mounts permanently to the floor of van, inside the side door and folds in quarters and stores vertically, leaving the doorway accessible. A patented center hinge eliminates pinch points. Made from aluminum and welded construction, it accommodates wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs.

 

PVI - Modular ramps
Greenville ramps This grooved aluminum ramp is an all weather, no maintenance product that accommodates 45°and 90° turns or switchbacks. It can easily be moved or reconfigured if the home is sold. Ramp does not require any site preparation (concrete pad) and is available with ADA hand rail extensions, guard rails and gates. Accommodates inclines up to 60°.

 

Add A Ramp - Fiberglass
North Carolina Ramp fiber glass Fiber glass ramps are maintenance free and stronger than aluminum. The ramp is modular, which means it can be assembled or moved easily. Unlike aluminum the fiber glass surface will always maintain a slip resistant finish. Available in colors and curves that match the building finish. An optional all-weather mesh fabric can be used as a handrail filler, creating a professional appearance.

 

Custom wood & metal ramps
Greenville ramps This is an example of a wood & metal ramp. No special cement pad preparation is needed. The ramp can also be placed inside the garage or designed to blend in with an existing deck. If the user relocates, the ramp can easily be disassembled.
