Clients' first
While many DMEs have adopted rigid formularies to maintain their margins, ASM doesn’t have ‘best pick’ lists. Our mobility consultants are free to choose the best match to each client. We fit the equipment to the client, NOT fit the client to the equipment.
Complex and basic rehab
ASM is proficient in providing custom AND basic rehab equipment for children and adults. ASM offers custom seating and positioning systems such as tilt and recline, custom molding and pressure mapping services to maximize patient outcomes.
Accredited staff and facility
ASM is staffed with Assistive Technology Providers (ATP) certified through RESNA. As a medical equipment provider, ASM is accredited through the ACHC since 2007.
Loaner equipment
ASM has one of the largest demo inventories in North Carolina. Patients and caregivers can trial equipment in their home before making a decision to purchase
One-stop-provider
ASM carries a comprehensive portfolio of assistive technology equipment - from walkers and gait trainers, to manual and electric wheelchairs to lifts for transporting scooters and powerchairs. We also do minor home modifications and ramps. Clinicians can rest assured that they are referring their patients to a one-stop-provider that can meet their patients’ needs for a loaner, purchase or rental.
